Many apologies from Philip Riden but a new provisional date for the AGM is now Saturday July 21st in Matlock.

The date for the AGM this year is Saturday July 14th at the Imperial Rooms in Matlock. As in previous years this will be a joint day with Derbyshire VCH Trust and new books will be launched.

This year's AGM will be held on Saturday July 15th at the Imperial Rooms in Matlock. As in recent years it will in conjunction with the Derbyshire VCH Trust's AGM in the afternoon and a sandwich lunch will be served.

Pressure of work has delayed the launch by a few of months of the first part of Philip Riden's edition of the Hardwick Accounts.This contains the Introduction and Index and will be now be available as soon as possible. Full ordering details will be sent to members in the next month or two.

The Household Accounts of William Cavendish, Lord Cavendish of Hardwick, 1597–1607. Edited by Philip Riden in 3 Volumes. Volumes 2 and 3 to be launched on July 2nd, Volume 1 to be published later this year. There are further details and downloadable order form available.
